Balmain SS16 PFW

Paris Fashion Week has been incredible so far, as expected! We've seen the beautiful collections of classic and iconic fashion houses such as Christian Dior and Balenciaga, and a frighteningly quirky show from Rick Owens; consisting of strong models attached by body harnesses to other models upside down while walking down the catwalk. As predicted, this raised some eyebrows and gave everyone something to talk about!

But best pals Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid looked fierce for Balmain's Read-to-wear SS16 collection as they stole the show in sophisticated pieces, while Kendall's mother, Kris Jenner watched her daughter walk down the catwalk.

In my opinion, a lot of pieces in this collection would be perfect for a formal night out. In gorgeous suede earthy tones, giving off 70s vibes, and cut out details, it was all classic Balmain. I love the bodycon dress with a clash of suede and jewels, teamed with on trend cage heels. The whole collection somehow looks simple and neat yet beautifully detailed. Overall, it was another successful show at Paris Fashion Week.
