I've recently found a new designer who I've fallen in love with. Markus Lupfer is a German designer who started off in the early 2000's and has since created quirky designs by vamping up everything from basic t-shirts to trousers with his unique prints.
The collections that have stood out for me are his Resort 2016 and SS16 collection. The Resort 2016 range boasts fresh pieces inspired by nature; with retro shells and leafy looking prints. Each look is fairly simple yet gorgeous, with Lupfer creating his own signature look on each design.
SS16 has been styled just as brilliantly as the Resort collection. It's slightly more detailed than Resort in terms of prints, sheer fabrics and embellishment, and I think the footwear compliments each piece really well. My favourite pieces are definitely the retro daisy sunglasses.
Finally, I discovered Lupfer through his Instagram page, which looks just as amazing as his collections. It has an archive of his catwalk shows and details of collections so its definitely worth a follow and a browse.
