RAF SIMONS X FRED PERRY FW16

As a fan of Fred Perry and Raf Simons bold designs, I was excited for collaboration between the classic brand and famous designer to return. The Fall/Winter 2016 collection has just hit the website to reveal a collaboration that defines the distinctive designs of the two.

The classic Fred Perry silhouette is introduced to graphic block colours and line designs, typically used by Rad Simons himself. I think the famous Fred Perry polo shirt is the perfect base for collaborating with anyway, with it having so much culture connected to the sporty design- so it's always interesting to see what designers and collaborators can do with it.

One of my favourite pieces from the collection is the colour block tipped black polo and the red knitted shirt- with huge links to the classical Mod style that Fred Perry is accountable for. Another piece I like is the FP classic bomber jacket with subtle colour blocking.
