T O M M Y H I L F I G E R S / S 1 7 R E A D Y - T O - W E A R

Tommy Hilfiger's S/S'17 Ready-to-wear collection has just hit the internet and it's channelling the stereotypical sport prep image of the brand, but with a gorgeous floral/boho edge.

There's so many obvious trends that stand out from the collection that already exist in this S/S season, such as the bomber, trucker camp and dungarees. This is good news since it can only mean that the sporty trend isn't going anywhere next summer. The collection has also stuck to Hilfiger's signature preppy colours of blue, red and white, but the floral pieces use a traditional Spring palette.

One of the outfits that stands out is the suit piece with floral trousers, teamed with a glitter clutch. The striped shirt worn underneath still keeps the brands image.

Overall I love the whole 'layering look' going on since it's so wearable and laid back. Hilfiger have mixed it up by teaming a sporty jumper over a pair of ditsy floral shorts, and turning an oversized shirt into a gorgeous dress by layering a flower crochet crop over it.
