LFW SS16

Christopher Kane

This was a very quirky show, with the overall theme being plastic cable ties used as accessories and ways to hold garments together. Overall, it was a gorgeous collection. I'm not usually a fan of neon, but the fluorescent lace outfit worked lovely together.

Burberry

Although Cara Delevingne and her girlfriend, St. Vincent stole most of the attention, Burberry put on a classical show that consisted of lots of lace and beautiful gold embellishment. Burberry always manage to put on a successful show that captures the label perfectly.

JW Anderson

A very 80s influenced catwalk show with power shoulders, sporty luxe joggers and monochrome as the leading theme. Anderson kept it modern with sleek, simple hair do's and the gorgeous A-line skirt.

Topshop Unique

Topshop Unique are one of the few who can put on a great catwalk show with wearable pieces. Their SS16 collection was bursting with everything 80s; from masculine jackets, big hair and bold polka-dots.
