'Back to Uni' casual outfit inspo

I've been thinking of comfortable, casual outfits and pieces I can mix and match for when I go back to Uni. I panic too much when I think about getting up late in the cold early mornings and not finding anything I want to wear. So I took to ASOS and had a little search for inspiration, and came across some lovely outfits and essential pieces. I've added pieces from other stores of how to style these looks and get your wear out of essential casual pieces in your wardrobe.

Look 1 is the easiest for anyone to wear. Throwing on a pair of skinny jeans with a plain white t-shirt is the majority of every girls 'go to' look when they can't decide what to wear in the morning. This purple coat from ASOS makes the look appear more cosy yet smart. For a monochrome look, team black brogues with black jeans, letting the coat stand out as a pop of colour.

It's okay to have plenty of skinny jeans and plain t-shirts in your wardrobe. Finding different ways to wear them all will give you an outfit for every day of the year!

Look 2 is very comfortable yet edgy, and would be perfect to wear all year round. On colder days, this can obviously be teamed with jumpers and coats, but on warmer days a simple crop top sets off the cropped and sketchy print trousers from Monki (found on ASOS.) I love these style of trousers because they suit more or less anyone, and they can be styled in so many different ways. I think they look best with latch back sandals or a pair of Birkenstocks.

If in doubt, stick with black or khaki when trying to dress in darker/monochrome outfits.

Look 3 is a very sporty approach for people who are brave enough to wear culottes. If you have the guts, i definitely think they're something you should try to wear. I found these ASOS WHITE jogger style culottes which are very laid back and fairly easier to style. ASOS styled them with one of their own shirts but I decided to look at other alternatives, and found a simple draped Topshop blouse for a smart yet simple look.
I found this Kenzo sweatshirt online which I fell in love with, and thought it would go well with the culottes for a comfy, sporty look. Team with the latest Adidas Stan Smith's in snake print. Trainers are still big news, so don't forget about your Superstars.
