Calvin Klein A/W16 NYFW

Everyone seemed more interested in who was sitting on the front row for Calvin Klein's Ready-to-wear collection, since their recent Spring campaign featuring Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner grabbed a lot of attention around the world.

Kendall Jenner herself did sit front row, along with Zoe Kravitz, Abby Lee Kershaw and Margot Robbie. All girls looked stunning in effortless outfits, resembling Calvin Klein pieces themselves.

The collection itself was typical CK; sleek and fairly provocative but with a twist. It featured classic black suits but with wool textures, plus fur cuffs and plaid patterns. Some pieces had a slight gothic touch accessories such as chokers and long, oversized jackets. It captured Autumn/Winter fashion perfectly with a CK signature.

Vera Wang A/W16 NYFW

One of collections that has stood out for me so far at New York Fashion Week was Vera Wang's RTW catwalk collection. Featuring the model, Kendall Jenner, this collection boasted beautiful garments with a Gothic/Punk edge. It was a classic Wang show with simplistic dark colours, smart silhouettes and a mixture of fabrics and textures including wool, fur and sheer materials.

Back details stood out on most of the garments with unusual dress ties which resembled delicate lingerie. Everything from dramatically long fringe to classy sequins also featured in the collection.
