I've been feeling the winter blues lately and I needed to cheer myself up with something other than clothes. So, my MAC gift voucher thats been sat in my purse since Christmas was the perfect excuse to treat myself, (curtesy of my lovely little sister!).
I don't tend to spend a lot of money on make up as it is; I usually just use L'Oreal or Rimmel from Boots and Superdrug because I'm someone who would rather spend the money on clothes. I went into the hectic MAC store in Liverpool, where I felt sorry for the girls competing to please their cosmetic obsessed customers. I decided to spend my gift card on a signuature MAC lipstick and lip liner.
The make up artist was brilliant in helping me pick a nude-ish shade that I could wear as part of my daily make up routine. I ended up purchasing:
Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Staunchly Stylish, £15
Since wearing them I've had many compliments about how they suit my skin tone and make my lips look fuller. They're a dirty pink/brown colour which is perfect for every day wear, and if you want to achieve a 'Kylie Jenner lip'. The two products work well together and they always stay on all day. I'm pleased I decided to try them out! :)
